Look What I Made.... one has more cinnamon ....
The one on the left has more cinnamon and is a whole lot sweeter...yep, I am a tad biased, I suppose. But the one on the left is not edible :o).
I made the Simple Mornings Apple Cinnamon Muffins today. If you happen to make these muffins... the mix could use about 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, a few dashes of nutmeg, and about two tablespoonsful of sugar or a little more if you like them a little sweeter. Please trust me on this. :o)
I don't like using a lot of oil, so I used a little applesauce with the oil to make the 1/3 cup it called for. I also added some extra diced up apple.
I had a 75 cents off coupon for it, so I thought I would give it a try.
Most of the muffins I made today will probably go in the waste can. This mix has no artifical ingredients and comes with a granola packet to sprinkle on top of the muffins. So basically they are good for you , but please add the sugar, cinnamon, and a dash of nutmeg or two for some flavor. They are so bland, they aren't worth the calories that you consume when eating one.
I just finished this little darling coffeedyed and aged pin keep doll.. Of course, I added my own touches. A TFC folkart pattern was used, but I added real arms and improvised here and there. She is 6 1/2 tall and aged for a timeworn look. The pin cushion is a piece of a favorite cutter quilt I had bought at an antique store.

Two posts in one day... must be the rain :o) !
