Happy Autumn ! It is here ! In all its splendor and Libby's Pumpkin is back on the shelves in the grocery stores ! YEA ! The other day I made a pumpkin cake with cream cheese icing. Next is a pumpkin pie ! My favorite !
This was taken a couple nights ago from my back porch. Not a great photo since I evidently didn't hold the camera steady as it is a tad blurry. The moon had an orange cast to it ~ looking every bit like a Harvest Moon.
That is the (farmer) neighbor's corn field below the tree line under the moon. I am surrounded by corn fields, pastures, dairy cows and barns ! ( Actually, probably not a good thing as I have had allergies all summer long. )

Wish I was in the country.We are in a quaint small town though.I've been stocking up on the pumpkin when I see it in stores.Hubby says I'm a hoarder but I know it's magically gonna disapear when I need it for Turkey day.I made some Pumpkin Cream Cheese muffins with Maple glazed pecan streausel as soon as I found some last week.Hope you have a great weekend!
