Civil War Mailbag
Click photos to enlarge.
It was 150 years ago this year that the Civil War started. 1861 !
I have this civil war mailbag set available. I just love this mailbag set ! It can hang from an olde cupboard or you can tuck it just about anywhere.
For more information about this olde and worn looking prim mailbag set, you can click on the mailbag photo on the right sidebar or email me: homecamp1@comcast.net. ( $39.00 plus traveling fare to your zipcode. )
Update !
The olde prim and worn mailbag has been sold . Thank you, Teresa.
I made the hook and eye closure from rusty wire and added a rusty bell.
The only glue used was to make the envelopes. No glue was used to make the mailbag. Just good old handstitching when needed.
The design is from Dee Duncan with my own touches.
MAY YOU ALL HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND !
And Thank You to our military , past and present, for keeping our country safe and free.
P.S. I have not been able to leave comments on almost all the blogs I love the last few days, so hello to everyone ! I hope blogger will resolve these problems asap !
Hugs,
Linda

Hello Linda! I am back on my laptop. I still cannot gain any type of access to my blog from my desktop :( I hate laptops, cramped typing, and it jumps around if you rest your hands. LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the mailbag. It looks so neat. Yes, your comment was able to get to me. I had to come on my laptop to publish thou. Crazy. Maybe I have a virus on my desktop. I sure hope not.
Have a beautiful Memorial weekend. Yes, a big thank you to all of the men and women that serve and protect our country.
Cheers,
Tonya
